Who we are, how we work, and how Curaidh Clinic fits alongside your NHS and GP care.
Integrative medicine bridges conventional medical care together with evidence-informed non-pharmacological options to consider the whole person, including history, symptoms, test results, lifestyle, and environmental factors. At Curaidh Clinic, Dr Minha, a GMC-registered Physician-Scientist and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London), leads this process to work towards the root cause of your symptoms. Read about our approach and values.
LLIFERR® is the model of care Dr Minha developed for Curaidh Clinic. The letters stand for Lifestyle, Longevity, Integrative, Functional, Environmental, Restorative and Regenerative medicine. Each modality is a lens for assessing your medical status and shaping your care plan via a combination of pharmacologic, nutraceuticals, and using the latest innovative health technologies. Discover the LLIFERR® Model of Care.
Dr Minha Rajput-Ray is the founder and Medical Director of Curaidh Clinic. She is a Cambridge-trained Physician-Scientist and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London), with over 25 years' experience across Pain, Rheumatology, Rehabilitation, Occupational, Disability, Environmental and Integrative Medicine. She founded Curaidh after her own experience of injury and illness within a fragmented healthcare system. Meet Dr Minha.
Curaidh Clinic works alongside your NHS and GP care. Appointments are longer than a standard GP appointment: the Triage Consultation lasts 1 hour 15 minutes and the Master Consultation 1 hour 45 minutes. Dr Minha uses this time to build a timeline of your health, review previous results, and examine how symptoms across different body systems connect. Where appropriate (and with your permission), we liaise with your GP and other specialists.
Curaidh Clinic is registered with Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS) as an independent healthcare service. Dr Minha is registered with the General Medical Council (GMC), holds membership of key medical societies, and actively participates in research and continuing professional development. Attending Curaidh Clinic privately does not remove your entitlement to NHS care. Scottish and UK Government guidance allows patients to combine NHS and private care. In practice, this means:
- Tests, treatments, and prescriptions arranged through Curaidh Clinic are either self-funded or covered by insurance.
- Your GP decides whether to take on any treatment we recommend, based on their own clinical judgement.
- You can continue your NHS care alongside us, or return to it fully.
With your consent, we can share our findings with your GP, and we encourage open communication between your care teams. The BMA’s guide for doctors in Scotland, The interface between the NHS and private treatment, sets out how this works in practice.

Conditions and who we help
The conditions we see, and how integrative medicine can help when you have been left without answers.
Integrative medicine suits people living with persistent, misunderstood or medically unexplained conditions, particularly those who feel dismissed or left without answers by conventional care. At Curaidh Clinic, our work covers four main areas: complex pain and fatigue syndromes, medically unexplained symptoms, chronic disease management, and microbiome, gut and ecological health.
We see adults with complex, persistent or misunderstood health conditions, including:
- Chronic pain, fibromyalgia, arthritis and post-accident recovery
- Fatigue syndromes and medically unexplained symptoms
- Long Covid, Lyme disease and chronic infections
- Autoimmune and gut conditions, including IBS, Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis
- Thyroid conditions, perimenopause, menopause, insulin resistance, diabetic complications, adrenal dysfunction, weight management concerns and long-term burnout
- Neurological rehabilitation after brain injury, radiculopathy, POTS and dysautonomia
- Work-related and environmental health concerns
If your condition is not listed, email office@curaidh.com and we can advise whether an appointment is suitable. See our services.
Yes. We see patients with complex pain and fatigue syndromes, including fibromyalgia, arthritis, Lyme disease and co-infections, Long Covid and complications after injury. Persistent pain and exhaustion can point to underlying drivers, so Dr Minha looks beyond standard pain management to identify what may be contributing. Your care plan uses evidence-informed integrative protocols aimed at improving movement and quality of life.
Yes. Chronic disease rarely fits neat diagnostic boxes. We support patients with thyroid conditions, perimenopause, insulin resistance, diabetic complications, adrenal dysfunction, weight management concerns and long-term burnout. Dr Minha works with you to understand what is driving your symptoms and tailors interventions to your findings.
Yes. The gut plays a central role in immune and nervous system function, so Dr Minha looks at your wider health alongside your diagnosis. Your assessment may include advanced microbiome testing and a review of possible environmental triggers to inform your care plan. We work alongside any existing gastroenterology care you receive.
Many patients come to Curaidh after being told their results are normal. We take complex, undiagnosed and invisible conditions seriously, and listen to how your symptoms affect your life and work. Routine tests are designed to rule out specific diseases, and they may not explain symptoms such as persistent fatigue, pain or brain fog. At your consultation, Dr Minha reviews your full history and previous results, then advises whether further specialised testing could help clarify what is happening.
Yes. Long Covid can affect several body systems at once, with symptoms that may include fatigue, breathlessness, pain and difficulty concentrating. Dr Minha assesses each patient individually, looking at how symptoms connect, and builds a care plan around your findings. Book a Triage Consultation.
Yes. Dr Minha sees patients with diagnosed or suspected Lyme disease and tick-borne co-infections, including those whose symptoms have continued after treatment. Your assessment covers your history of possible exposure, your symptoms and any previous test results. In 2026, Dr Minha attended the ILADS European Scientific Conference in London on an ILADEF bursary.
