Forttuna Global Excellence Awards: Integrative Medicine Leader of the Year
Dr Minha was named Integrative Medicine Leader of the Year at the Forttuna Global Excellence Awards in Dubai, for Curaidh Clinic’s patient-first model.
In December 2025, Dr Minha was named Integrative Medicine Leader of the Year at the Forttuna Global Excellence Awards in Dubai. The awards celebrate purpose-driven leadership and innovation across healthcare, business, technology and sustainability.
Held on 5–6 December 2025 at JA Resorts & Hotels on Soul Beach, the ceremony drew more than 600 delegates from 84 countries, with thousands more watching online. For Dr Minha, the award was recognition not only of her own career but of the integrative, patient-first model of care built at Curaidh Clinic in Dundee, evidence that a distinctly Scottish approach to pain, chronic disease and work health is being noticed on the international stage.
The occasion carried a quieter, more personal significance too. It marked Dr Minha’s first international flight in five years, kept off planes not by the pandemic but by the panic attacks that serious illness had left behind, a milestone in her own recovery from the serious illness that reshaped her medicine, and a threshold she had once feared she might never cross again. It is a story she shares openly with patients who are slowly rebuilding their own confidence after trauma or illness of their own: proof that the road back, however long, can be travelled.
Awards are never the point of the work at Curaidh Clinic, but this one affirmed something worth affirming: that taking complex, poorly served patients seriously, and treating them with rigour and humanity, is a model the wider world is ready to recognise.
