Showcasing Scotland's Med-Tech: A Techscaler Event in Edinburgh

Dr Minha joined a Techscaler event in Edinburgh showcasing Scotland’s best med-tech and innovation, connecting with its scientists and entrepreneurs.

In 2025, Dr Minha attended a Techscaler event in Edinburgh showcasing the best of med-tech and innovation in Scotland. Techscaler is the Scottish Government’s national programme, delivered by CodeBase, that helps founders build and scale technology start-ups from hubs across the country, and gatherings like this one bring together the people turning Scottish research and ideas into real-world companies.

For Dr Minha it was a great opportunity to collaborate with scientists and entrepreneurs, and to connect Curaidh Clinic’s model of integrative, patient-first care with Scotland’s wider innovation community. Among those she met was Karen Duncan of BioDundee, the partnership that champions the city’s remarkable life-sciences cluster.

It reflects something central to how Dr Minha works: the conviction that better healthcare grows out of collaboration, between clinicians, scientists, founders and patients alike. She often talks about building a “ripple economy” that keeps talent and expertise in Scotland and creates a connected community in which one person’s success lifts the next. An evening among the country’s med-tech innovators is simply that philosophy in another room.
