Shaped by her own experience(s) as a patient and carer, Dr Minha strives to streamline communication with healthcare professionals to ‘join the dots’ as this can truly help identify ‘root cause analysis of dis-ease.’

Having suffered a fractured femur at the age of 18 years and grateful for the holistic care received in being able to regain her mobility, Dr Minha initially trained as a Registered Osteopath and Naturopath in London. Following this, and conventional training in Medicine, she graduated from the University of Dundee. As a junior doctor she had the personal experience of debilitating autoimmune illness and going back to her Naturopathic roots, Dr Minha was able to regain her health.

At the same time, Dr Minha realised that doctors were not getting enough of Nutrition Education in their training and together with group of like minded colleagues is a founding member of the Need for Nutrition Education Programme (NNEdPro). These experiences ignited a lifelong interest in complex disease management.

To further this understanding, Dr Minha successfully secured a highly coveted NIHR (Walport) Academic Clinical Fellowship in Rheumatology and General Medicine, at the Universities of Manchester and Wolfson College, Cambridge and upon completion pursued further training in Occupational, Disability and Environmental Medicine. Another series of health events led Dr Minha to Board Certification in Lifestyle Medicine.

Dr Minha has been a recipient of the Mobbs Corporate Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians, Faculty of Occupational Medicine and the Golden Jubilee Fellowship of the Society for Occupational Medicine and the MNI Award at the European Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ESPEN).

Dr Minha has provided care for patients in the NHS, Public Services (Teachers, Higher and Further Education personnel, Law Enforcement Agencies - Police, Armed Forces, Probation Service), The Safety Critical Sector, Logistics (Road, Rail and Offshore), Heavy industry manufacturing, Charitable Sector.
