Advancing Integrative Medicine for Medically Unexplained Symptoms

Dr Minha recently presented at the Royal Society of Medicine’s GP Section, in partnership with the Forgotten Patients Group, to explore integrative medicine approaches for Medically Unexplained Symptoms (MUS) and overlooked diseases. The event brought together GPs, allied health professionals, academics, and specialists from cardiology, rheumatology, pain management, psychology, and emergency medicine.

The conference facilitated meaningful discussions on innovative supportive therapies and alternative treatment approaches. Dr Minha co-presented alongside Francis Kynaston-Pearson, Dr Sanjay Gupta, and Lou Evans, delivering insights on patient-centred care and thinking beyond conventional treatment pathways.
With over 100 participants attending both in person and online from across the UK and the Netherlands, the event highlighted the need for improved care pathways for MUS patients. Special thanks were extended to Dr Jay Verma, Jeshni Amblum-Almér, and Dr Adrian Tookman for leading the session and fostering a collaborative exchange of ideas.
Curaidh Clinic remains dedicated to advancing integrative medicine through research, education, and multidisciplinary collaboration, ensuring better support for patients with complex and often misunderstood conditions.
